The Sunshine Coast Cross Country Series on Sunday 19th May

The Sunshine Coast Cross Country Series is recognised as Queensland's best winter cross country racing series.    It caters for runners, joggers and walkers of all ages, both serious and recreational.     Beginning with U'8's, there's a family race and various age races right up to 18+ and Open.

One of the benefits of this course will be that parents will be able to see junior runners for the entire length of their course.

This series has been jointly organised since 2000 by the Maroochy Athletics Club and the University of the Sunshine Coast Athletics Club.

Sponsored by Allez Sport and organised by the Maroochy Athletics Club and the University of the Sunshine Coast,  MDSRC are hosting Race 4 at the Maleny venue on the Maleny Community Precinct on May 19th, 2013.

The first race will commence at 8.00 am.    The start and finish area will be the existing Maleny Golf Club Driving Range.

This will be a great family day.    There will be food outlets on the venue.    There is more info and venue maps at the webpage http://www.sccrosscountry.org

As each of the venues attracts 100's of runners and their families from around the coast, this will also provide a boost for Maleny businesses.
