Maleny Judo Club has success at the SEQ Regional Championships

The Maleny Judo Club had great success at a recent South East Queensland Regional Competition held in Brisbane.    This region encompasses Northern NSW from Lismore, out to Roma and up north to Hervey Bay.

All competitors performed exceptionally well in their respective age/weight divisions producing an impressive result for the Maleny Judo Club.

Harry Cauley, Blake Luland, Sean Cauley and Tyron Engle all took out Gold medals.    Ben Hooper won Silver with Shantelle and Max Hooper each winning Bronze medals - what an effort for their first judo comp!

Team coach, Glen Cauley said that he was very proud of his team.

Judo is a great way to assist in keeping fit.   It also improves a personís co-ordination.
