Once again the Maleny District Sports and Recreation Club awards proved to be a popular night with another “booked out” event.

This was the third year for this popular event and those who attended not only got to learn about the areas up and coming sportepeople, but got to get a great insight into the career of guest speaker, John Connolly.

He imparted a very interesting appreciation about the life of top sportspeople whilst they tour playing their sport and his life as a coach in a number of different countries of the world.

The sports presentations were very professionally presented by Maleny High School Captain, Monique Castaldi.
