Meeting Times:

The Maleny Swimming Club Inc meets each third Thursday of the month.

Our Swim Club runs every Wednesday evening - warmups 5:30pm with 5:15pm start.

First Club night is FREE, so come along and have a go!

Pool times 09/10 are as follows:

Monday – Friday:           6.00am – 10.00am   (6.00am - 8.50am in Term 4 after September holidays).

Monday – Friday:           1.00pm – 6.00pm

Saturday:                      8.00am – 6.00pm

Sunday:                        10.00am – 6.00pm

Pool times after the school holidays will be:

Monday to Friday                       6.00am – 8.50am
                                                        2.30pm – 6.00pm

Saturday                                  8.00am – 6.00pm
Sunday                                    10.00am – 6.00pm

Lap Swimmers (only)            6.00pm – 6.45pm

The swim pool will remain open from 6.00pm – 6.45pm – Monday to Friday for Lap swimmers only.

All swim programs will be up and running from Monday 05 October.   .

FIRST CLUB NIGHT:  Wednesday 07 October.  All swimmers to be at the pool by 5.15pm for warm up

Senior squad members are training over the holidays on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings – 6.00am – 7.30am..

Membership:

Ordinary membership is available at $40.00 per family or $20.00 per single (16 years and up) plus QSA Fee:  (Competitor, Recreational, or Non-Swimmer) and WBRSA Affiliation Fee.

The Club also has a junior membership.

Club  History :

In 1978, the Maleny Amateur Swimming Club was formed as a sub-committee of the Maleny State School P&C.

In 1983 the construction of the Maleny Centenary Pool was completed and in 1984, the club began competing in swimming competitions.

In 1992, the club became incorporated and was named the Maleny Swimming Club Inc.

The club has carried out many improvements to the Maleny Centenary Pool including the development of a clubhouse, a marshalling shelter, shade structures, spectator seating and a learn to swim pool.   The Maleny Swimming Club has produced many elite swimmers who have competed at local, regional, state, national and international levels.
